#good trouble - where a good foundation of people becomes a great community destined for great things - all for the greater good. Many of the community initiatives are a culmination of weaving 25 year of projects together with a common thread. So, some ideas are recycled, some are reconstituted, some are reinvented and some are designed specifically for the community in mind. All of them however are consciously united - building a better community, one project at a time.

The Unity Project is community initiative that unites the community in a fun and creative way. This project is the brainchild of Nancy Belmont in Alexandria, VA and has been curated around the world. 'UNITY is a larger-than-life structure that helps us celebrate our uniqueness and strengthens our ties to each other'...making us realize that we are all more alike than unalike.. Bringing to life The Unity Project | Daniel Island, SC in 2024. The Unity Project promises to be a very special community project here on Daniel Island. Stay tuned for more details.

I love brilliant ideas.
I love interesting people.
I love outstanding projects.
I love for them all to be consciously united.
I have an idea! What if? And sure, why not! Anyone that knows me well are very familiar with those phrases. And so it all began, those words were the humble beginnings of my volunteer work and still continue on today - bringing ideas, people, and projects together for the last 25 years for the greater good.
Who knew there was a name for it -- #good trouble.
So, let's walk cheerfully and consciously unite.
